Addie Smith
Addie Smith is the founder of Studio Adelia, a Denver-based boutique lighting design firm. With a mission driven by a passion for beautiful experiences, human connection, and place-making, Addie paints with light to enliven the built environment with drama – inspiring people to do, feel, and be better. Going beyond the art and technique of illumination, she strives to understand the client’s unique needs and aspirations and translate them into beautiful experiences.
Addie is a Certified Lighting Designer (CLD), holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a degree in Interior Design, and has a Certificate in Design Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. With over 15 years of experience working on high end residential, exterior, hospitality, civic, luxury retail, and commercial projects in major cities across the country, Addie brings visual intuition, architectural rigor, creative presence, and positive momentum to every project and team.

Randy Glickman
With over 30 years of experience in the theatre and at renown lighting design firms, Randy’s unique experience includes a keen understanding of lighting for the guest experience, a curated approach to drama in space, and a luxury lighting aesthetic. He brings architectural design rigor and a deep understanding of lighting controls and dimming systems. This supports his strong field experience aiming luminaires and setting dimming levels to create a richly detailed lighting atmosphere for every project. From luxury resorts, boutique hotels, and residential properties to intimate bars and top tier restaurants, Randy’s expertise in exterior and interior hospitality lighting design is unparalleled.
Randy holds a Master of Fine Arts from UC San Diego with a degree in Design and Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College with a degree in Drama. Notable past clients include Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Auberge Resorts, Montage Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton, Nobu Hospitality, and Hai Hospitality, on projects located in New York, California, Hawaii, Florida, and Montana.

Ireland Anderson is an aspiring lighting designer passionate about creating sustainable, human-centered designs. As an independent contractor at Studio Adelia, she supports Addie's mission to craft intuitive lighting solutions that enhance how people experience and connect with their environments. With a fresh perspective and a keen eye for detail, she will focus on developing visualization techniques and capabilities with technology and innovation to support the Studio’s artistry and design direction. Dedicated to maximizing productivity and fostering innovation at Studio Adelia, Ireland believes exceptional design is both functional and personal, shaping spaces that feel natural, evoke emotion, and inspire creativity.
A 2025 graduate of Colorado State University’s CIDA-accredited Interior Architecture and Design program, Ireland is a proud Fort Collins native and first-generation college graduate. She aims to build a career in multinational property management, repurposing properties to enhance user experiences through thoughtful hospitality and residential design. With a commitment to environmental sustainability and cultural integration, Ireland envisions creating timeless spaces for future generations to enjoy.

Winston is the resident whippet and official studio snuggler. With a strong passion for naps, gentle whining, and strategic placement for sun-bathing, he keeps morale high and ensures the team never works too hard without a break. When not supervising from his favorite lux chair, Winston specializes in looking adorable and reminding the team to pause and breathe—usually by insisting on a walk in the sun.
